Deputy Minister Klisović talks political, economic cooperation with Estonian delegation

Deputy Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Joško Klisović received Secretary General of the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Alan Streimann and Secretary General of the Estonian Ministry of Defence Mikk Marran, who were in Zagreb for the political consultations between representatives of the two countries’ governments.

The talks underlined the very good and friendly relations, with an emphasis on continued cooperation and political consultations in all areas of mutual interest. Apart from the upcoming Vilnius Summit, the officials discussed the importance of maintaining the European prospect in Southeast Europe and underscored Croatia’s role as a new EU member in the transfer of European integration know-how and experiences.

In the context of strengthening bilateral cooperation, the officials discussed cooperation potential in various areas, from energy to the prospect of cooperation between Croatian and Estonian in fields such as electric cars manufacturing.

After the talks, Klisović and Streimann opened the Estonian Consulate in Zagreb, headed by Honorary Consul Boris Jukić.
