Deputy Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Joško Klisović 6 November received the incoming Swiss ambassador to Croatia, Stefan Estermann.

The two officials expressed satisfaction with the good bilateral relations as well as the steps taken to resolve the status of Croatian citizens in Switzerland after the February referendum on limiting the freedom of movement, hopeful that the two countries’ economic relations would continue to grow.

Estermann informed Klisović about the preparations for the signing of a framework agreement with Croatia, which would provisionally define the implementation of Swiss financial contribution to the EU enlargement.

The two officials also discussed Switzerland’s OSCE presidency.
