Deputy Minister Joško Klisović 24 July in Zagreb held political consultations with Hungarian Deputy Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó.

The two officials underlined good bilateral relations, noting the need for their strengthening, notably in the areas of culture, cross-border cooperation, economy and energy, with the Croatian side presenting several projects ready to be realized. The delegations visited the location of the future LNG terminal in the island of Krk and JANAF terminal in Omišalj, where the LNG Croatia officials presented the project in detail, underscoring the positive impact it would have on the region.

The next meeting of the Mixed Cooperation Committee is scheduled for 10 and 11 November in Budapest.
