On the fringes of the third Invest Forum held 6-7 November in Opatija, Deputy Minister Joško Klisović held political consultations with the Undersecretary of State at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Benedetto Della Vedova. The Two officials discussed Croatia and Italy’s neighbourly and partnership relations, as well as topics of mutual interest. “We need to intensify economic cooperation, given the great interest among our business communities,” Klisović said. The areas of cooperation include energy, the Adriatic-Ionian microregion, tourism, culture, health and higher education. Cooperation needs to be strengthened in EU matters of mutual interest as well, said Klisović.

The two officials announced the holding of a session of the Ministerial Coordination Committee for the first quarter of 2015.
