Croatian Embassy in Beijing participated in the 6th East Asian International Travel Fair
The Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in Beijing participated in the 6th East Asian International Travel Fair by invitation of the Chinese Province of Liaoning, and presented the Croatian offer in the field tourism at the Fair which was held in the city of Dalian from 17 - 19 April 2009.
The participation in the Fair is a continuation of a long tradition of friendly relations between the Primorsko-Goranska County and the Province Liaoning in northeast China. The international offer in the field of tourism, the domestic tourism offer of Chinese provinces, an offer of yachts and other vessels, and the international offer in the field of hotels were presented at the Fair.The East Asian International Travel Fair is the biggest fair in terms of exhibitors in the northeast of China, and numerous tourist offices and tourist agencies from countries of the Asian-Pacific region, Latin America and Europe presented their offers at the Fair.
A noticeable interest of Chinese tourist agencies and the media for the Republic for Croatia as a potential destination for Chinese tourists from the Liaoning Province with a population of 42 million inhabitants was noted. The Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in Beijing recognizes opportunities offered by tourism fairs, and encourages the creation of a Croatian tourism offer designed for the People’s Republic of China.
