Croatian Ambassador to Japan Drago Štambuk attended lecture at Tokyo University’s School of Architecture delivered by Croatian architects Vinko Penezić and Krešimir Rogina

At the invitation by the renowned Japanese architect Kengo Kumo, Penezić and Rogina delivered a two-hour lecture outlining their idea of architecture and presenting their works, with an emphasis on the House of Croatia-Japan Friendship in Tokamachi

At the invitation by the renowned Japanese architect Kengo Kumo, Penezić and Rogina delivered a two-hour lecture outlining their idea of architecture and presenting their works, with an emphasis on the House of Croatia-Japan Friendship in Tokamachi. The lecture was attended, among others, by Tokamachi Mayor Yoshifumi Sekiguchi, project manager Kuma and numerous students.

Ambassador Štambuk greeted the attendees and pointed out Tokamachi’s affection for Croatia, stemming from their hosting the Croatian soccer team during the 2002 World Championship.

In his speech, Mayor Sekiguchi said that Tokamachi was proud to be a home to the House of Croatia-Japan Friendship, calling the friendship between Tokamachi and Croatia “precious”.
