Croatian Ambassador to Greece Vesna Cvjetković Kurelec handed over credentials to President Karolos Papoulias

In a meeting after the handover ceremony, the collocutors expressed satisfaction with the level of the bilateral relations, as well as with the constant and substantial highest-level political dialogue. They also noted a need for strengthening the two countries’ economic relations, namely in energy, transport, and tourism.

The meeting reiterated Greece’s support for Croatia on its way to the EU and NATO membership, with a belief that Greece’s ratification of the Protocol on Croatia’s NATO Accession would soon be completed.
