Croatian Ambassador to Finland Damir Kušen handed credentials to Finnish President Tarja Halonen

Croatian Ambassador to the Republic of Finland Damir Kušen handed on 8 February 2007 his credentials to Finnish President Tarja Halonen, thus officially assuming the duty of the Republic of Croatia’s ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary to the Republic of Finland

The meeting between Ambassador Kušen and President Halonen pointed out the very good bilateral relations between the two countries and touched upon the topical issues of European foreign and security policy.

On the occasion of the handing of the credentials, a reception was held at the Croatian Embassy in Helsinki that saw high officials of the Finnish Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ protocol and members of the Finnish-Croatian Friendship Society.
