Croatian Ambassador to Denmark Aleksandar Heina handed credentials to Her Majesty Queen Margaret II
Croatian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Kingdom of Denmark, Aleksandar Heina, handed on Wednesday 12 October 2005 at the Fredensborg Castle his credentials to Her Majesty Queen Margaret II of Denmark, thereby officially assuming the duty of the Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia to the Kingdom of Denmark
Ambassador Heina expressed his great honour to come to Denmark at a historical moment for Croatia, in view of the last week’s decision by the EU Council to open the accession negotiations with Croatia.
Ambassador Heina also expressed his satisfaction with the opening of the Danish Embassy in Zagreb, the first residential ambassador having assumed the duty a few weeks ago. This proves that both sides are interested in the further enhancement of the already excellent bilateral relations between the two countries.
