Croatia initiated successful meeting of Joint Committee for Succession of ex-SFRY Diplomatic-Consular Property

At the initiative of the Republic of Croatia, after a year-and-a-half hiatus, a successful meeting was held on 21 December 2006 of the Joint Committee for the Succession of the Diplomatic-Consular Property of the Former Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, Annex B

At the initiative of the Republic of Croatia, after a year-and-a-half hiatus, a successful meeting was held on 21 December 2006 of the Joint Committee for the Succession of the Diplomatic-Consular Property of the Former Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, Annex B.

A Resolution was reached, along with the two Annexes, that was signed by all of the ex-SFRY successive states.

Said Resolution divided a total of 44 diplomatic-consular facilities of ex-SFRY.

In accordance with Annex 1, the Republic of Croatia was allotted a total of 10 facilities: three embassies (Vienna, the Hague, Lisbon), four residences (Helsinki, Madrid, Stockholm, Oslo), consulate general in Toronto, and two apartments in Trieste.

Te next meeting was arranged to be held in Skopje, 15 and 16 January 2007.
