The Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs follows the events in Ukraine with grave concern and expresses deep regret over the violence that has led to casualties. We call for all sides to refrain from using force so as to prevent further escalation of violence and new victims. We believe that it is not too late for a dialogue between the government, opposition and civil society. The citizens of Ukraine deserve peace, security and prosperity, and we are sure that the EU is the best mediator to solve this crisis as it talks to all the sides involved and can act proactively.
