Consular Affairs Director Vinko Ljubičić met with Albanian Ambassador Pëllumb Qazimi

Director Ljubičić and Ambassador Qazimi discussed the liberalization of the visa regime between Croatia and Albania in view of facilitating the issuing of visas to different categories of Albanian citizens. In that regard, Director Ljubičić said a suitable solution will be found, taking into account Croatia’s obligations in its EU accession negotiations, as well as their projected completion in 2009.

Ambassador Qazimi informed Director Ljubičić about the recent visit by the Albanian transport minister to Croatia, and announced the visits by other Albanian officials in the coming months.
