Chaired by Foreign Minister Vesna Pusić, Interdepartmental Working Group for Development Assistance and Humanitarian Aid held its first meeting 12 October 2012

The meeting was held to enhance cooperation among the relevant bodies in planning, realizing and reporting on the offered development aid, as since 2011 Croatia has exclusively been a provider country. Discussed were issues of meeting the national and international requirements, strengthening the administrative and institutional capacities, as well as planning and reporting on development projects.

The meeting was attended by members of the working group that come from the Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Science, Education and Sports, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of the Interior, Ministry of Construction and Physical Planning, Ministry of Administration, Ministry of Environmental and Nature Protection, Government’s Office for Cooperation with NGO’s, State Office for Croats Living Outside of Croatia, State Office for Trade Policy, Croatian National Bank, National Protection and Rescue Directorate, Croatian Chamber of Economy, Croatian Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Council for Civil Society Development, Agency for Public Private Partnership, Ministry of Social Policy and Youth, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Crafts, Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Maritime Affairs, Transport and Infrastructure, Ministry of Veterans' Affairs, Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds, National Foundation for Civil Society Development, and Government’s Office for Mine Action.
