Croatian Foreign Minister Miomir Žužul and South African Trade and Industry Minister Mandisi Mpahlwa signed today, 20 August 2004, in Pretoria, a Bilateral Trade Agreement between the Republic of Croatia and the Republic of South Africa

The signing of this agreement is a part of the economic diplomacy program that Minister Žužul designated as one of the five priorities of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Minister Žužul announced the pending signing of the Agreement on Co-operation between the port cities of Rijeka and Cape Town, whose ports are suitable for traffic in both directions.

South African Trade and Industry Minister said that his country had followed Croatia’s ascent towards the EU with sympathy and wished Croatia and Minister Žužul success in future integration processes.
