Assistant Minster for Bilateral Co-operation Ivica Tomić received on 16 October 2006 to inaugural visit the newly-appointed Ambassador of the Federative Republic of Brazil to the Republic of Croatia, Haroldo Teixeira Valladao Filho, who handed him the copies of his credentials
Ambassador Filho expresses satisfaction with his assuming the duty of the first Brazilian ambassador seated in Zagreb. Both sides confirmed that there are no open issues between Croatia and Brazil and expressed conviction that the opening of the Brazilian embassy in Zagreb will contribute to the strengthening of the friendly relations and the intensification of the co-operation in all areas.
