Assistant Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Nebojša Koharović 17 May in Zagreb held consultations with Director General of the Kosovar Ministry of Foreign Affairs Sami Ukelli

Assistant Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Nebojša Koharović 17 May in Zagreb held consultations with Director General of the Kosovar Ministry of Foreign Affairs Sami Ukelli. The two officials expressed satisfaction with the dynamics of bilateral relations and expressed willingness to intensify cooperation in the area of economy, education, culture and sports. Koharović and Ukelli also discussed the situation in Southeast Europe, the importance of implementing the Kosovo-Serbia agreement on the normalization of relations, as well as regional initiatives.

Director General Ukelli was also received by Deputy Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Joško Klisović, who congratulated on the agreement with Serbia, adding that it opened up a clear European prospect for Kosovo. He underlined that after 1 July Croatia would continue strongly to advocate European integration of all the countries in the region. The Kosovar delegation held separate talks with Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs Vesna Cvjetković, Assistant Minister for European Law, International Law and Consular Affairs Andreja Metelko Zgombić and Diplomatic Academy Director Mladen Andrlić.
