Tuesday 15 January will mark the 21st anniversary of Croatia’s international recognition. In these two decades of independence we have realized our strategic goals – defending the country, NATO membership and very soon –EU membership. 

Croatia is fully ready to become a full-fledged member of the European Union. We have used the long negotiating process as an opportunity to build state instructions, we have carried out numerous reforms and we are determined to continue working on the further stabilization of the region, as a stable region is in our vital interest.
