Ambassador Picukarić handed credentials to Mozambican President Armando Emilio Guebuza and copies to Minister of Foreign Affairs and Co-operation Alcinda Abreu

On 11 October 2006 in Maputu, the Republic of Mozambique, Croatian Ambassador Ivan Picukarić handed his credentials to Mozambican President Armando Emilio Guebuza, and the day before the copies to Minister of Foreign Affairs and Co-operation Alcinda Abreu, thereby officially assuming the duty of the Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia to the Republic of Mozambique, seated in Pretoria, the Republic of South Africa

In the meeting with President Guebuza, Ambassador Picukarić communicated the greetings by Croatian President Stjepan Mesić, as well as the invitation to visit Croatia.

During the handing of the copies of the credentials, Minister Abreu wished Ambassador Picukarić success in his work and expressed hope for the enhancement of the overall relations between the two countries, especially in economic co-operation, showing interest in the possibility of improving the co-operation in trade, transfer of knowledge and technology, and Croatian investment in Mozambique.
