Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia to the Czech Republic Frane Krnić, MSc, presented his credentials to President of the Czech Republic Vaclav Klaus

After the credential presentation ceremony, President Klaus and Ambassador Krnić discussed bilateral relations between the Republic of Croatia and the Czech Republic, and confirmed that the relations between the two countries were very good and that there were no open issues. They noted that there was room to further enhance economic cooperation, and President Klaus said that he believed that the number of Czech tourists visiting the Adriatic would not significantly change this year.

President and Ambassador also talked about current political topics, with special emphasis on negotiations on the accession of the Republic of Croatia to the European Union. President Klaus said that the Czech Republic would continue to back a speedy accession of the Republic of Croatia to the European Union.
