Ambassador Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović presented credentials to Mexican President Felipe Calderón

After the presentation ceremony at the National Palace, Ambassador Grabar-Kitarović and President Calderón talked about a comprehensive strengthening of the bilateral cooperation, namely in economy, culture, and tourism. Ambassador Grabar-Kitarović noted the issue of cancelling visas for Croatian citizens, for which President Calderón had promised his personal support. They also discussed Croatia and Mexico’s participation in the Security Council’s activities, since both countries are currently its non-permanent members.

President Calderón congratulated Ambassador Grabar-Kitarović, expressing hope that the successful cooperation between the Republic of Croatia and the United Mexican States would continue.
