Ambassador Danijela Barišić handed over credentials to Bulgarian President Georgi Prvanov

The meeting following the handover ceremony confirmed the excellent bilateral relations between Bulgaria and Croatia, and pointed out the importance of further strengthening the two countries’ economic relations.

President Prvanov emphasized that Bulgaria will continue to firmly support Croatia on its way to the full-fledged EU and NATO membership.

Ambassador Barišić thanked Bulgaria for ratifying the NATO Accession Protocol and relayed to President Parvanov the invitation by Croatian President Stjepan Mesić to officially visit Croatia.
