Ambassador Bučan signed on behalf of Croatian Government European Convention on Legal Protection of Services

Permanent Croatian Representative to the Council of Europe, Ambassador Daniel Bučan, signed 7 September 2006, on behalf of the Croatian Government, the European Convention on Legal Protection of Services based on, or consisting of, Conditional Access

The signing of this CoE legal instrument represents a further step forward in harmonising the Croatian legal system with the European standards and continues the process of adopting the international-legal instruments of the Council of Europe.

The Council of Europe’s goals is to protect through the Convention the operators and providers of radio, TV, and internet services from the illegal use of those services and minimise the loses resulting from electronic or computer piracy.
