Assistant Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Joseph Gene Petrić 27 July at the Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds signed an agreement on allocating grants for the “Economic Diplomacy Training Programme”. The project entails exchanging the best know-how and experience in strengthening national economic diplomacy systems and is to be implemented in a partnership between the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs and Innovation Norway. The EUR 23,000-worth project has been approved as part of the Bilateral Funds, which act alongside the EEA Financial Mechanism and the Norwegian Financial Mechanism for the 2009-2014 period.
