A traditional Croatian evening was held in Bratislava

A traditional Croatian evening was held in Bratislava on 10 April 2003, organised by the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia to the Slovak Republic and the Croatian Tourist Community. This is the central event to promote Croatian tourism on the eve of the tourist season.

Mr. Eduard Kukan, the Slovakian Foreign Minister, who had accepted the invitation, welcomed the gathering, emphasised good relations between Croatia and Slovakia and expressed his satisfaction with the fact that Slovakian citizens are choosing Croatia as their holiday destination.

Also present among more than 400 guests were Mr. Michal Kovač, the former President of the Republic, Mr. Milan Ježovica, Prime Minister’s Advisor for Foreign Policy, Mr. Jozef Stank, Head of the President’s Office, representatives of the media, the economy, scientific institutions, travel agencies, and the public and cultural scene of Bratislava.
