4th meeting of the Inter-state Diplomatic Commission...

On 25 July 2003, the 4th meeting of the Inter-state Diplomatic Commission for Identifying-Determining State Border Line and Preparing Border Agreement between the Republic of Croatia and Serbia and Montenegro took place in Zagreb. After more than a year, the negotiations concerning the state border have been resumed at this meeting.

The Inter-state Commission harmonised the Protocol on Northern and Southern Trilateral Border between Croatia, Serbia and Montenegro and Bosnia-Herzegovina, to be signed late in September in Sarajevo. The Commission also discussed issues related to border regime, and they agreed that the corresponding joint commissions should meet as soon as possible. Both sides also noted the need to agree on cooperation in water management in border areas.

The talks were held in a very constructive atmosphere.
