Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Gordan Jandroković met on Saturday, 9 July 2011, on the sidelines of the Croatia Summit in Dubrovnik, with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Hungary János Marto

The collocutors agreed that the bilateral relations between the two countries are excellent, and cooperation is established in all areas of mutual interest. They stressed in particular possibilities for further improvement of economic cooperation.

Minister Jandroković expressed his gratitude for the continuous and strong support provided by the Republic of Hungary to the Republic of Croatia during the negotiations with the European Union, as well as for the personal involvement of minister Martonyi in the conclusion of the negotiations.

Minister Martonyi congratulated the Croatian Government on successfully completed negotiations and reforms implemented during the process.

The collocutors stressed the significance of regional cooperation and the importance of the conclusion of Croatian negotiations for all other countries in South East Europe on their path towards European integration.
