Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Gordan Jandroković met on margins of CoE Committee of Ministers’ meeting in Istanbul with Luxembourgian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Jean Asselborn

The ministers agreed that the bilateral relations were very good and friendly, with no outstanding issues and showing perspective for further development

The ministers agreed that the bilateral relations were very good and friendly, with no outstanding issues and showing perspective for further development. Minister Jandroković thanked Luxembourg and his colleague Asselborn personally for continuously supporting Croatia in its Euro-integration process, pointing out that Croatia was determined to end the negotiations by end-June.

He informed his about the Croatian government’s efforts to satisfy the criteria for closing the remaining chapters.

Minister Asselborn said he hoped Croatia would fulfil the rest of its obligations, expressing Luxembourg’s full support for the successful completion of the negotiations and Croatia’s joining the EU as soon as possible.

Conclusively, Minister Jandroković invited his counterpart to the Croatia Summit, scheduled for July in Dubrovnik.
