Minister Jandroković expressed satisfaction over the excellent cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration and the UNDP Zagreb Office, as well as the fact that since the launch of its operation in Croatia in 1996, the UNDP has invested some USD 70 million in various programs.

In that regard, he pointed out that Croatia had evolved from a recipient into a development aid provider, a progress that has been followed by the UNDP programs as well.

Welcoming the continuation of the launched programs by 2013, he expressed satisfaction that the UNDP had provided the means for opening the Center of Excellence in Croatia, where Croatian experts could share their experiences concerning Croatia’s negotiation process with the other countries in the region.

The meeting also discussed the final phase of Croatia’s negotiations, with the collocutors agreeing that the European perspective for all the countries of South Eastern Europe was crucial for its stability.
