State Secretary Plenković informed Ambassador Lyssiotis on the course of Croatian accession negotiations with the EU, and on Croatia's objective to complete the technical part of the negotiations by the end of this year.

Ambassador Lyssiotis restated the support of Cyprus to Croatia on its road towards the EU membership. He expressed the willingness of Cyprus to share its experiences related to the harmonisation of the national legislation with the acquis.

The parties discussed the bilateral relations and the forthcoming Croatia Summit that will take place in Dubrovnik on 9 and 10 July. They also addressed the possible meeting on the ministerial level.
