While responding to their numerous questions, Directors General Nobilo and Vidić Pleše informed the present members of the Royal College about the current foreign affairs activities undertaken by the Republic of Croatia. They also informed them on the status of the negotiations of the Republic of Croatia with the European Union, Croatia's activities in view of its NATO membership, and its bilateral cooperation with the countries of South-East Europe.

Members of the Royal College of Defence Studies visited the Ministry on their seven-day study visit to the Republic of Croatia. The Royal College of Defence Studies is a renowned institution and a component of the Defence Academy of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The college runs courses for diplomats, military officers, civil servants and representatives from the private sector from all over the world, with the emphasis on international safety, and global political and economic relations.
