A multimedia stand of the Representation of the European Union in Stockholm was put up at the main railway station (Centralstation), as one of the busiest places in Sweden, which allowed many passengers and passers–by to, through quizzes and other interactive content, learn something new about the EU, its institutions and member states, including Croatia which is soon to be the 28th member state. Among special guests, there were also the Swedish Minister for European Union Affairs Birgitta Ohlsson, former Vice–President of the European Commission Margot Wallström and representatives in the European Parliament Anna Maria Corazza Bildt and Cecilia Wikström.

Presentation organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in Stockholm also featured an interview with the Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia to Sweden Vladimir Matek, who talked about Croatia’s EU accession, quiz “Meet Croatia, 28th EU member state!“ and presentation of the promotional film on Croatia. A special cultural and musical contribution was the performance the Folklore ensemble Croatian Cultural Association „Dr. Ivan Mertz“ from Stockholm.

During the Croatian programme, which was specially praised by the organizers, those who were interested had a chance to get promotional material and publications by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration and Croatian National Tourist Board. Winners of the quiz, who showed a great level of knowledge on Croatia, were awarded symbolic prizes.
