MFAEI hosted the 4th meeting of the members of the working group for the “Program for the Stimulation of International Competitiveness and Internationalisation of Croatia’s Economy for the 2009-2010 Period”

The meeting was chaired by Director General of the Directorate for Europe and North America Aleksandar Heina, and Director of the Export and Investment Promotion Agency Sani Ljubunčić.

One of the topics of the meeting was revision of concrete proposals for enhancing the efficacy of the economic diplomacy, as part of the future “Croatian Export Strategy for the 2010-2014 Period”.

They also discussed the most frequently applied models of economic diplomacy in other states, primarily in the successful exporting countries.

The meeting was concluded by accepting the main guidelines and future tasks the purpose of which is to enhance the efficacy of economic diplomacy, about which a more detailed discussion will continue in the next meeting of the working group.
