On Monday, 1 December 2009, the 11th conference of the Intergovernmental Mixed Committee on the implementation of the Agreement between the Republic of Croatia and the Republic of Hungary on the protection of the Hungarian Minority in the Republic of Croat

The delegations were led by Head of Independent Service for Croats Abroad and Culture of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Petar Barišić, and Expert State Secretary for Minority and National Policy at the Hungarian Prime Minister’s Office Ferenc Gémesi, as Co-Chairmen of the Intergovernmental Mixed Committee

The delegations were led by Head of Independent Service for Croats Abroad and Culture of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Petar Barišić, and Expert State Secretary for Minority and National Policy at the Hungarian Prime Minister’s Office Ferenc Gémesi, as Co-Chairmen of the Intergovernmental Mixed Committee.

During the meeting, all recommendations from the last meeting implemented so far were reviewed, as well as those whose implementation is under way. New requirements of the Croatian minority in Hungary and Hungarian minority in Croatia were adopted.

After the meeting, the two Co-chairs signed the Minutes of the 11th session of the Intergovernmental Mixed Committee with the recommendations on behalf of both Governments.
