India International Centre hosted promotion of “Croatian Literature”, a book in Hindi prepared by the Croatian Embassy to India in cooperation with the Indology Department of the University of Zagreb’s Faculty of Arts and the Department for Slavic Studies

This first Hindi translation of the overview of Croatian literature contains selected work of poetry, prose and drama, photographs of Croatia and reproductions of the works by Croatian painters

This first Hindi translation of the overview of Croatian literature contains selected work of poetry, prose and drama, photographs of Croatia from the vault of the National and University Library, and reproductions of the works by Croatian painters.

Speeches about the Croatian-Indian cultural ties were held by Croatian Ambassador to India Boris Velić and Secretary at the Indian Ministry of Culture Jonhar Sircar. The book was presented by the Head of the Department for Slavic Studies and Ugro-Finnic Languages of the University of New Delhi, prof. R. K. Nagpal, and Croatian language lector at the University of New Delhi Nataša Nedeljković.
