State Secretary Željko Kuprešak during working visit to Poland met with State Undersecretary of European Integration Committee Sidonia Elżbieta Jędrzejewska and State Undersecretary at Ministry of Foreign Affairs Witold Waszczykowski
State Secretary for European Integration Željko Kuprešak was on a working visit to the Republic of Poland on 25 and 26 February, during which he separately met with State Undersecretary of the Committee for European Integration Sidonia Elżbieta Jędrzejewska and State Undersecretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Witold Waszczykowski
Both sides described the bilateral relations between Croatia and Poland as very good and friendly, with no outstanding issues. The meetings also discussed the course of Croatia’s EU negotiations and the progress achieved in meeting the membership criteria. State Secretary Kuprešak thanked the Polish side for the support it is offering to Croatia on its path towards the Euro-Atlantic integration, as well as for the offer to transfer its experience in the accession negotiations, pointing out that those experiences are of great value for Croatia. Within that context, the two sides agreed on the further modalities of the two countries’ co-operation.
During a working lunch with Political Director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Witold Sobków, State Secretary Kuprešak discussed the current situation in Europe’s southeast.
