Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Pejcinovic Buric 4 September 2018 received OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities Lamberto Zannier. Zannier also held talks with State Secretary for Political Affairs Zdravka Bušic.
Pejcinovic Buric underlined the high level of protection and legal framework Croatia is offering national minorities (the Constitutional Law), including the right to representation in the Croatian Parliament. She stressed that the neighbouring countries’ Euro-Atlantic membership was one of Croatia’s priorities, adding the highest standards of minority rights protection in Croatia are an important guarantor of security and stability in our neighbourhood.
During the two-day visit, Zannier held talks with a number of Croatian officials, including representatives of national minorities in Croatia.
