The Embassy of the Republic of Croatia hosted on 15 June a reception on the occasion of the Statehood Day and the Armed Forces Day of the Republic of Croatia, at the Rixos Grand Ankara Hotel.
The event was hosted by Ambassador Dražen Hrastic and Defence Attaché Colonel Berislav Jezidžic, with the presence of His Excellency Naci Koru, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and General Mehmet Sanver, Deputy Commander of the Turkish Air Forces, as the guests of honour.
The Statehood Day of the Republic of Croatia is celebrated every year on June 25 to mark the 1991 proclamation of the Constitutional Decision on Sovereignty and Independence of the Republic of Croatia. The Armed Forces Day is celebrated on May 28.
