Deputy Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Joško Klisovic 10 March met with Azerbaijani Minister of Defence, Lieutenant General Zakir Hasanov, who is on a multi-day visit to Croatia. The two officials underlined the good cooperation between Croatia and Azerbaijan, notably in energy and economic affairs. They also stressed the importance of a coordinated international community in fighting terrorism, peaceful resolution of interstate disputed and full respect for the international law. Both sides agreed that diplomacy always had to take precedence over military action, noting Croatia’s experience in peaceful reintegration of parts of it territory.
