State Secretary for Political Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration and appointed Secretary General of the Regional Co-operation Council (RCC) Hido Bišcevic participated in the 17th meeting of the Foreign Ministers' Council of the Black Sea Economic Co-operation Organisation (BSEC), held 25 October 2007 in Ankara, the Republic of Turkey.
State Secretary for Political Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration and appointed Secretary General of the Regional Co-operation Council (RCC) Hido Bišcevic participated in the 17th meeting of the Foreign Ministers' Council of the Black Sea Economic Co-operation Organisation (BSEC), held 25 October 2007 in Ankara, the Republic of Turkey.
The meeting focused on co-operation in energy supply and infrastructure in the Black Sea region, and on linking with other European regions. State Secretary and appointed RCC Secretary General Hido Bišcevic transferred Croatia's positions on the situation in South Eastern Europe and informed the participants about the dynamics of establishing the RCC and its headquarters in Sarajevo, due to start working early-2008. He also reported on the RCC priority activities, among which the co-operation in energy and infrastructure issues will hold a prominent place.
During the meeting, Bišcevic met with Turskish Foreign Minister Ali Babacan and MOFA undersecretary Ertugrul Apakan.
