Establishment of diplomatic relations between Croatia and Somalia

On 4 February 2022, the Republic of Croatia established diplomatic relations with the Federal Republic of Somalia. 

The Joint Communiqué on the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries was signed in New York by H. E. Ambassador Ivan Šimonović, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Croatia to the United Nations, and H. E. Ambassador Abukar Dahir Osman, Permanent Representative of the Federal Republic of Somalia to the United Nations.
