Establishment of diplomatic relations between Croatia and Burundi

On 14 May 2021 in New York, diplomatic relations were established between the Republic of Croatia and the Republic of Burundi.

The Joint Communiqué on the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries was signed by H. E. Ambassador Ivan Šimonović, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Croatia to the United Nations and H. E. Ambassador Zéphyrin Maniratanga, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Burundi to the United Nations.
