The Republic of Croatia and the Republic of the Congo established diplomatic relations on 10 May 2007 in New York. Joint Communiqué on the establishment of diplomatic relations was signed on behalf of the Croatian Government by the Permanent Representative to the United Nations in New York, Ambassador Mirjana Mladineo, and on behalf of the Government of the Republic of the Congo by the Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Basile Ikouebe.
