Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic received today, 18 November 2005, the UN Assistant Secretary General and UNDP Regional Director for Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), Kalman Mizsei.
Assistant Secretary General Mizsei expressed his satisfaction with and congratulated Minister Grabar-Kitarovic on opening the accession negotiations with the EU, informing her about the reason for his stay in Zagreb – the presentation of the second issue of the Development and Transition trimonthly, dedicated to migration and minority issues in South Eastern Europe, CIS and the new EU members, published jointly by UNDP and the London School of Economics.
The two expressed interest in further improving the good co-operation between UNDP and the Republic of Croatia.
