Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration and the representations of the UN agencies to Croatia co-organised the commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the United Nations in Zagreb.

Today, 24 October 2005, at the UN Day, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration and the representations of the UN agencies to Croatia (UNICEF, UNHCR, UNDP, ICTY liaison office, IMF, WHO and the World Bank) co-organised at the MFAEI in Zagreb the commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the United Nations. The present parties were reminded of the eight Millennium Development Goals, unanimously supported by all UN members, and adopted, with the aim of facilitating development worldwide, at the UN Millennium Summit held 2000 in New York. As a part of the events, an auction exhibition was held of school children's drawings on the topic of the Millennium Development Goals. All of the profit from the auction goes to the UNICEF “Stop the Violence among Children” project. Ivana Crnic Spokesperson
