The introduction of new seasonal flight of Croatia Airlines between Split and Athens

The recent launch of a new direct, seasonal flight connecting Croatian town Split and Greek capital was celebrated on 28 May 2014 at Balux Prive club in Glifada, at an event organized by Croatia Airlines and Intermodal Air, general sales agent of Croatia Airlines in Greece and under the auspices of the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in Athens. The event was attended by Dr Ivan Velimir Starcevic, Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia to Greece; Kresimir Kucko, President and CEO of Croatia Airlines; Josko Stella, Director of the Tourism Organization of Split and Dalmatian province; Zlatan Muftic, Convention Bureau Director at Zagreb Tourist Board & Convention Bureau; Ioanna Papadopoulou, Director of Communications and Marketing at Athens International Airport and representatives of major Croatian and Greek travel agencies. The national airline of Croatia now flies once a week from Split, the largest city in the Croatian region of Dalmatia, to the Greek capital by A319 (144-seat capacity) and A320 (174-seat capacity) aircraft every Saturday at 6:30 pm. Croatia Airlines also connects Athens to Dubrovnik and Zagreb every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. The airline will cease the routes in October.
