Croatian Embassy in Athens on the eve of the Christmas holidays organized a concert of the Croatian-Greek piano duo Pincetic - Sakellaridis. The concert was held on 23 December at the concert hall whitin Theocharakis Foundation in Athens. The musicians performed works of Gershwin, Bernstein, Brahms, Tchaikovsky, as well as Croatian Christmas carols.
The concert brought together members of the Croatian community in Athens, representatives of the diplomatic corps, representatives of the cultural and artistic scene in Athens, as well as other friends of the Embassy. After the concert, Ambassador Ivan Velimir Starcevic invited the guests to join the Christmas reception in the premises of the Foundation.
Beata Pincetic and Christos Sakellaridis as a piano duo are performing since 2003. In addition to Greece, they held a series of successful concerts all over the Europe, including Croatia, performing the works of classic and contemporary authors. They have won many awards, and in 2009 published a compact disc with works of 20th century composers.
