Croatian-Greek partnership is a success of the EU

Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias said in Zagreb on Friday that relations between Greece and Croatia are a success story for the European Union and the Balkans. "Relations between Greece and Croatia have reached full maturity," Dendias said in Zagreb.

The Greek foreign minister gave a presentation at the end of an annual conference of Croatian diplomats and military envoys, which ended on Friday.

"I must say that the relations between Croatia and Greece are a success story of the European Union and the Balkans," added Dendias, concluding that Athens and Zagreb will continue to cooperate in topic of the European prospects for the Balkans.

Commenting on Dendias's address at the conference, Croatian Foreign and European Affairs Minister Gordan Grlić Radman underscored the importance of exchanging information between state diplomatic missions in light of the Russian invasion and the consequences of that war.

"It is that exchange of information precisely with our dear neighbour, an ally in both the European Union and NATO and our partner, that will surely contribute to an even better understanding of this situation, but also to efforts to make our two countries closer to each other," Grlić Radman said.
