Concert by Tea Kulaš

Tea Kulaš, Croatian organist and artistic director of the International Festival of Church Organ in Zadar, had an organ recital on June 21, 2022 in Ano Syros, on the island of Syros in Greece. She performed on the organ of the Catholic Cathedral of St. George, which is the oldest organ in Greece, constructed in Italy in the 19th century. The performance took place as a part of the "ANO" International Organ Festival, which has been organized by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Syros since 2017. The festival consists of concerts, lectures, organized tours of the church and the organ, as well as tours of the medieval settlement of Ano Syros. Tea Kulaš performed on the occasion of World Music Day on June 21. On the previous day, she held a workshop for students and organ students.

On the day of the concert, an introduction was given by the producer and consultant of the Festival artistic program, Nikos Kanellopoulos, followed by welcoming addresses by Petros Stefanou, the Catholic Bishop of Syros, and the Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia, Aleksandar Sunko. The concert was well attended in the St George Cathedral and was broadcast live on social networks. Tea Kulaš performed works by Croatian, Greek and international organ composers, including works by Albe Vidaković, a Croatian composer of church music.
