Ambassador Barisic met with LDK Vice-President Vjosa Osmani today and congratulated on the result she and the party achieved in the October elections. Ambassador Barišic spoke about the priorities of Croatia"s EU presidency, adding that security and stability of the SEE and enlargement of the EU are among Croatia"s priorities therefore Croatia will organize EU-WB6 summit in Zagreb in May.
Vice President Osmani wished the Croatian ambassador a successful mandate in Kosovo and stressed the continuation and further strengthening of bilateral relations between the two countries. Also, Vice-President Osmani expressed her expectations that after taking over the EU presidency, Croatia would further support Kosovo in Euro-Atlantic integrations.
The formation of parliament and government was also discussed in light of the official results of the October 6th elections just announced.
