Minister Redžepi meets the Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia

The Minister of the Ministry of Local Government Administration, Emilija Redžepi, received the Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia, Danijela Barišic. The current situation in Kosovo, the plan and activities of the MLGA, the situation in the local self-government were among the topics discussed during the meeting. Minister thanked Ambassador Barišic and the Croatia for their commitment to assist Kosovo and the entire Western Balkans. he Minister also stressed the need for further co-operation and support for local self-government, especially municipalities where non-majority communities live. “We definitely need the support of Croatia through various EU projects for our municipalities, projects related to rural development, water and electricity supply, etc. Croatia heads the European Union and has experts in the European institutions and any kind of assistance is more than necessary for us” minister Redžepi said. Ambassador Barišic informed minister Redžepi on Croatia"s priorities during the Presidency of the EU Council including the preparations for the Conference on the Future of Europe and initiatives related to the Western Balkans. The interlocutors agreed to continue cooperation aimed at improving the lives of all communities in Kosovo.
